Turin, from the Roman Â« square town Â» of Augusta Taurinorum to the 16th century capital city of the Dukedom of Savoy, then capital of the Kingdom of Sardinia and, eventually, capital city of Italy. The development is clearly visible in the urban structure of the town and in its so called â€œCrown of Pleasuresâ€, the castles in the surroundings. The visitors will be impressed by Turinâ€™s spectacular baroque style, elegant and rich.
