The Villa and the gardens follow the example of the 17th century Baroque in Rome.  The building is beautifully located half way up the hill, at the end of the axe which goes through the Napoleonic and Restoration area and connects the Villa to the centre of the town.
First we'll visit the interior and the gardens. Then we'll walk back (or drive for those who prefer the car) as far as Piazza Vittorio. Here, short description of the area and of its historical context. Final pause in a traditional coffee house.
